Our Services

Individual Therapy

People seek individual therapy for a variety of reasons. Often people enter therapy because they are experiencing intense or difficult emotions or thoughts and their usual ways of coping are overwhelmed. Many individuals come to therapy to identify and work toward implementing lasting changes in their lives. Others come to process and work through their reactions to major life events.

Our clinical approach is tailored to the individual clients with whom we work. In starting therapy, you can expect an open discussion with us about your hopes for therapy and how treatment might help you meet your goals. We believe that any successful outcome in therapy must be built on a collaborative, trusting, and open working relationship.

We provide integrative individual psychotherapy grounded in compassionate, evidence-based practice.

Couples Therapy

We see couples from diverse backgrounds who may be struggling with a variety of concerns, including:

  • communication difficulties

  • trust issues

  • patterns of emotional expression and engagement

  • cultural, religious, and sexual identities and differences

  • navigation of relationships with other family members

  • sexual concerns

  • parenting and blended families

  • LGBTQIA+ couples

  • navigation of relationship configurations (e.g., monogamy, open relationships, polyamory)

Couples therapy works to facilitate a space where all parties can express their concerns, be heard, and work toward fostering deeper understanding and engagement in their relationships. Some couples come to us at a point of crisis while others seek more “preventative” support. Our approach to couples treatment is tailored to the needs of each unique relationship and incorporates cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, multicultural and queer affirmative approaches.
