I view my clients as whole people with unique values and strengths, not just a collection of symptoms or problems. My approach tailors evidence-based methods and skills address your specific needs. Some areas that I commonly help clients with:
Building capacity to tolerate and modulate difficult emotions
Overcoming patterns of avoidance
Developing new relationships with stuck patterns of thinking, including worry and rumination
Clarifying and understanding values
Deepening understanding and insight into behavioral and relational patterns
Adopting curiosity and compassion toward self and others
Cultivating deeper and meaningful relationships
Exploring roles and identities, including sexual & gender identity, racial and ethnic identities, family, career, and relationship roles
I utilize a pragmatic approach in my work with clients and incorporate methods that are grounded in research while prioritizing a flexible, targeted approach in supporting you in your goals.
