My Approach

Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in both skill-building and deeper exploration.

We’ll work together to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while also building on the strengths you already have.

I integrate evidence-based approaches like ACT, CBT, and DBT with mindfulness and a strong emphasis on self-awareness. Our work will include practical tools you can use in your daily life, along with space to reflect on your experiences, relationships, and identity.

I also believe therapy should be a space where we can openly talk about identity, oppression, and privilege. I welcome conversations about how systems like racism, sexism, heterosexism, classism, and ableism may be shaping your experiences, and we can work together to process and navigate their impact.

My Background

Before entering private practice, I trained at New York University’s Center for Counseling and Community Wellbeing, where I worked in a community outpatient setting while completing my graduate degree.

I’ve also worked with organizations like The Trevor Project and Frontline Arts, experiences that deepened my commitment to supporting underserved communities and helping to destigmatize mental health care.

In addition to my clinical work, I volunteer with the New York City branch of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science.
